Re-Launch coming Mid-May!
Hello there everyone! I’m Gwynne, and I’m partnering with the previous owner of this site to take over and let this site soar! I’ll be focusing on saving money while going green, because the two work really, really well together.
A bit about myself first. I’m a single mom, I homeschool, and I work at home. Budgeting is extremely important to me, as is going green. Reduce, reuse, recycle saves money and the Earth, so I do it in abundance. I’m a newbie urban homesteader, so I’ll be sharing tips and hints on that as well.
Going green can be an intimidating sort of thing. You look around at all these different products, and they are often quite expensive. If you’re on a tight budget, you might wonder how you can go green. I’m here to tell you that it’s easy to go green without having to spend a lot of money. It involves making a lot of your own stuff, and making a lot of things from scratch. Don’t worry, I’ll share ways that you can do that and save time as well!
I’ll share products with you that might cost a bit more at first, but that will save you money in the long term. You can adopt one of these hints at a time, and make a difference in your life, in your budget, and on your environmental impact. You can go at your own pace, doing what works in your life, even if it’s just changing your light bulbs.
I’ll also be discussing the why of going green. Why should you go green? What’s in it for you? Everyone’s motives are different, and knowing yours will help you stick to what is ultimately a lifestyle change.
Stay tuned for lots of changes over the coming weeks! I hope to grow this site to its fullest potential!

Last week he started sending me links for information on ethanol and how it is supposed to be legal to have your own still as long as you have a permit from the Federal Government. I am not vouching for the credibility of what was sent, so if you are curious you would need to find out the legalities for yourself. Personally I wouldn’t recommend producing the alcohol.
